about

"Writing this album was an absolute joy. I never intended for it to grow into the beast it has become. It all started from a couple of fingerpicking tunes only half written from many years ago.

I started playing these again a bit and ended up completing them as finished pieces. Getting much inspiration from this I started to explore the open tunings they were in and experimenting with other tunings I literally stumbled upon also. From then onwards this just snowballed and new compositions came thick and fast. The end product of this is this album Picker’s Dream."
